Ladies of Levita Road Dairy - Located in Lebanon, these girls are traveling far to provide us with the freshest milk pasturized but not homogenized, yogurt and queso fresco which every foodie should have in their fridge !

Greyledge Farm -in picturesque Roxbury specializes in all-natural, pasture-raised beef, pork and poultry . Hand-selected and pasture-raised their Black Angus beef cattle, heritage hogs and free-range chickens produce tender, healthy cuts of meat that are infused with exceptional flavor.

Goatboy Soaps - of New Milford, creates the most fabulous soap that you've ever tried. If you've never tried it, your skin will thank you belive me ! Their creations are all natural using goat's milk, olive, coconut and palm oils and shea butter. Lisa and Rick along with their sons Ryan and Bobby are the heart and soul of goatboy soaps. Lisa is also the market master of the Fairfield Winter Market !

Daffodil Hill Growers - located in Southbury, they've got a great assortment of things from stunning christmas wreaths and decorations, paperwhites and amaryllis for Christmas, also handmade jams and jellies, maple syrup and local honey. Sara and Kathy also have apples and pears, shitake mushrooms. Don't forget the farm fresh eggs, Sara's grandfather was a poultry farmer and farmed land that she and her Mom grow on now.

Two Guys from Woodbridge - Perry began growing hydroponic veggies in just 900 square feet of space, humble beginnings for this guy from Woodbridge whose greenhouse space now totals over 12,400 square feet. He brings us a breath of spring all winter long with his hydroponic greens such as argula, various lettuces, chard, wheat grass.

Wave Hill Bread -Since Autumn, 2005 when Wave Hill Breads started delivering bread to farmers markets, we have made only one recipe, a three-grain poolish-based dough. Our breads are crafted by hand using age-old French methods. They are made from unbleached wheat flour, organic spelt and organic rye berries that we mill for each batch, sea salt, water, and a pinch of yeast, the entire process takes about 12 hours. They've got loaves of all shapes and sizes, as well as croutons, just the crust chips and cubed bread for pudding and stuffing.

Sono Bakery - Located in South Norwalk the proprietor John Barricelli, a former "Everyday Food" co-host, is the host of "Everyday Baking from Everyday Food," a half-hour weekly program on PBS. They will be offering a great selection of delicate pastries, decadent confections, elegant cakes and an assortment of freshly baked breads

Arogya Tea - Located in Westport they take tea to the next level with an awe astounding selection of white, green, oolong, black, herbal, pu-erh, and decaf teas. They also create their own healing blends to address all sorts of ailments. They exclusively use loose tea because of its fullness of taste, peak of freshness, and abundance in health attributes. More of the flavorful and antioxidant-rich juices are released when tea is brewed from loose tea.

Moorefield Herb Farm -of Trumbull began over 30 years ago when then antiques dealer Nancy was bitten by the herb gardening bug, and as they say the rest is history. She participates in several farmers markets around Connecticut providing fresh local herb planters for the customer's culinary delight.

Beltane farm - they make a variety of artisanal, farmstead goat milk cheese on their farm in Lebanon, Connecticut. Although their award winning fresh Chevre is the most popular cheese, they also make a number of fine French style ripened cheeses as well as Feta. Their Oberhasli and La Mancha goats are milked twice daily and provide the milk for the cheese.

Riverbank Farm - Laura and David operate an organic farm in Roxbury on the banks of the Shepaug River. They grow a diverse amount of crops that are sold through exclusively through farmers markets in Connecticut. Riverbank Farm is now in their 20th season of operation and we can't wait to see what they're bringing with them !

 Newgate Farm - in East Windsor has been providing local produce to CT since 1933. They have expanded to offer not just produce but berries, cut flowers and greenhouse products. They now have 3 generations all working together in the the family business.

Blackbird Bakery -

Whistle Stop Bakery - Located in the train station in Branchville, a section of Ridgefield. They are famous for their muffins, and they are a favorite of Michael Stern of www.Roadfood.com.

Starlight Gardens - David operates his farm in Durham, where they are USDA certified organic. They grow a large variety of greens and micro greens using the 5 greenhouses that are on the farm. David has been a contributor to presentations on four season growing for other farmers. 

Sankow's Beaver Brook -The Lyme, CT farm is named Beaver Brook for the creek that runs through the property en route to the Connecticut River. The farm now makes and sells artisanal sheep and cow’s milk cheeses as well as yogurts, milk and gelato. The Wool Shop features hand-spun wool garmets including socks, scarves, sweaters, hats, vests and blankets. They also sell yarn made from their own wool.

Westport Aquaculture- Captain Jeff Northrop's family have been in the aquaculture business of generations. Today he leases over 200 acres of federally regulated shellfish beds in Long Island Sound, it's there where he plants and harvests clams and blue point oysters. They are sold to local restaurants and farmers markets through out CT. I can't wait to try some clams on my holiday menu's !
